The second edition of the Global NL program brought together a team of hip hop talents from across the globe, drawn from the five residency countries that Next Level worked in during its second season, including Uganda, Tanzania, El Salvador, Honduras and Thailand.

The Global NL team spent a week in Washington, D.C., and a week at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  During their program, they Global NL team had workshops on entrepreneurship, social activism through music and conflict resolution. They also did outreach programs such as university symposium and public concert hosted by American University’s Global Communications program at AU School of International Service’s Atrium, and also at the University of North Carolina’s Institute of Arts and Humanities.
