Levantine Public Diplomacy was honored to send global hip hop ambassador Mahogany Jones to Helsinki to work with the U.S. Embassy to Finland on the “Rhyme with Reason” program in March 2016.

In Helsinki, Mahogany Jones conducted workshops on female empowerment with Finnish girls, focusing on MCing, spoken word and theater.

Mahogany also connected with Finnish rappers for a freestyle workshop.

Finally, Mahogany Jones was re-united with DJ Zlijay, of the NL Sarajevo Academy and Global NL program, for a final concert in Helsinki.
