The third edition of the GlobalNL program brought together a team of hip hop talents from across the globe in June/July 2017.  The GlobalNL team was drawn from the six residency countries that Next Level worked in during its third season, including Colombia, Brazil, Indonesia, Algeria, Tunisia and Croatia.

The GlobalNL team spent a week in Washington, D.C., and a week in New York.  During their program, they GlobalNL team had workshops on entrepreneurship, social activism through music and conflict resolution.   They did a live pop-up performance at the DC landmark Ben’s Chili Bowl, and rocked out at a Tools of War Park Jam in NY.  While in New York, the GlobalNL team toured places in where Hip Hop was born, and met with the pioneers of this art.
