Levantine PD is excited for the latest adventure in hip hop diplomacy: Next Level Tanzania!

LPD will be working with the University of North Carolina’s Department of Music on Next Level Tanzania in Dar es-Salaam and Zanzibar!

The Next Level Tanzania team features the stellar team MC Ahmad, DJ Teao of Audiopharmacy, Beatmaker Yako 440 of Soul Inscribed and Dancer Karlita Whackafella

The Next Level Tanzania project will feature a mini-NL academy with the MUHAS-UNC HIV Prevention project and the NL Dar Academy with local hip hop artists.  It will also feature hip hop/taarab collaboration in Zanzibar with the Dhow Countries Music Academy!
